Muzungu, Muzungu!  As we travel down the road in Uganda, East Africa, those are the words of hope (meaning "person with white skin") that are heard as excited tiny voices, small waving hands, and smiling faces emerge from the nearby bushes.  One's heart is immediately warmed -- a smile is truly a universal language that is understood throughout all cultures.  And we know without doubt that we are exactly where we are supposed to be...

We are not unique, and we definitely aren't brave or even special -- we are simply two people united as one with the same heart and soul for missions whom God has called to reach out to the people of Uganda.

NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH

Support the work we are doing as Catholic lay missionaries for NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH in their support of Nativity High School in Kibengo, Uganda under the direction of Bishop Paul Ssemogerere of the Kasana-Luweero Diocese.  Nativity Catholic Church and its members are helping with the construction of the school and ongoing support through their student sponsorship program.

SISTERS OF ST. FRANCIS
of Penance & Christian Charity

Through our mission work, in Uganda, we also serve as representatives of SISTERS OF ST. FRANCIS OF PENANCE AND CHRISTIAN CHARITY of whom we are Franciscan Associates.  The Sisters support our mission efforts both spiritually and monetarily.  As associates of Sisters of St. Francis we are able to extend the ministry and charism of the Sisters deep into the heart of Uganda.
